The Last Sapien | the fading unicorns

The Fading Colors of the Unicorn | You need a super strong sun shining at the rain to make the magic of the rainbow. The magic of the Unicorns is similar, you need enough rain - or Money in the market, and a strong Sun - which is the market strength, so when both exist you see Unicorns poping up like rainbows - and everybody is at awe moving sideways making sure they are not in the path of the landing strip of yet another one coming.

They became stickers, T-Shirts, e-Stickers on employees' signatures, companies logos, the grand show of the Hi-Tech world - making parents proud of their offsprings, barely using their own wings and already riding the magic where the sky was never a limit. We are talking Unicorns here.

Then came the markets that realized that Covid is no longer around but the debt is yet to be paid and then came the war in Unkraine and shuffled the world's economy, where there is a build up of tenssion in the south china sea, the rain has stopped and the sun is down, no rainbows and sure enough there are no more Unicorns.

The ones around are shivering, covered with mud and their colors are fading, they are getting hungry too.

The big companies that used to shine a light and create the illusion of everything possible are sheding off layers and sending thier most valuable resource out the door, people whom where defined by their work domain- Good bye employee@unicorn and welcome @home.

2023 is bringing a very slim bag of hopes and needs a very long runway before anyting takes off. The 'talk of the street' sounds less confident than is was exactly a year earlier, less loughs more gray, back to survival and perseverance.

We live in an economic Disney Land with professionals paid to make us entertained so long we hold on to our daily pass. Tomorrow is another day and the hero is yet to be announced.

You are called to hold on tight and prepare for a bumpy ride and trust that you are not the next joke on the imagineers list.

Does anyone even know what you feed them unicorns . . .
